Researching, designing, and constructing African-American history inspired art quilts is Carol Beck’s hobby. Many of her quilts are constructed using dimensional designs which draw the viewers closer for an in-depth visual examination. Her quilt design specialty is African-American history based art quilts. Carol’s art quilts have been featured in numerous juried local, national, and international quilt exhibitions, received award-winning ribbons, and have been published in books and journals.
