Joan is a lover of color, fabrics, buttons, and wearable art. Quilting has become an addiction because of her mother-in-law, who introduced Joan to this art form. When visiting her mother-in-law, they would often go in the sewing room, to enjoy laughter, go through fabrics, and imagine finished projects. Joan gets satisfaction from hand quilting.
