Joyce Brown Dark was born and raised in Hollister, NC. She currently resides in Butner, NC. Quilting has been a thoroughly enjoyable hobby since she started in 2002 with hand cutting, hand sewing, and hand quilting classes. With newer techniques, classes, and tools, she has ventured beyond all the hand techniques. Over the years, she advanced her skills by taking classes and workshops. Joyce feels she has advanced to the point that she is making a quilt for all her family members.
